The Literary Critic

DANA CKLHI started this blog because after I read a book, I’m always trying to tell people about how great, or how awful, it was.  Now I can tell everyone at once!  I have always been an avid reader and as a child, I tore through every Baby Sitters Club, Sweet Valley High, and Nancy Drew book written.  I continued this love of literature through college, earning a B.A. in English from Chapman University.  Being able to read both quickly and analytically assisted my legal studies in law school, and proves to be an asset on a daily basis as a practicing attorney in Orange. I am a Partner at the law firm of Cottle Keen Lopiccolo & Heyde, LLP.

I find reading relaxing and fascinating, and usually tear through several books a week.  I refuse, refuse, to switch to a Kindle because I absolutely love holding an actual book in my hands and turning the pages.  I’m at my local library every week checking out new books, which my friends and family find amusing.  Each time I start a book, I get to page 5, and then flip to the last page to see how many more pages I have to go!

I hope you enjoy my book reviews, but more importantly, I hope this blog inspires you to read!
